Visitors have the opportunity to choose from a large number of beaches on the island, from the more organised ones to those less crowded.
Whether they are covered with sand or pebbles, access to these beaches is extremely easy. They provide a large number of facilities for the bathers and ultimately are bound to satisfy every taste.
Beaches reached by road:
Kamares Beach
Sandy beach 1500 m long with umbrellas, sunbeds, cafeterias and restaurants.
Platis Gialos Beach
One of the largest sandy beaches in the whole of the Cyclades. There are umbrellas, sunbeds, cafeterias and restaurants.
Vathi Beach
A beach 1400 m long with sand and shallow water. Umbrellas, sunbeds, cafeterias and restaurants.
Herronisos Beach
A small sandy coast with restaurants and a mini market.
Vroulidia Beach on the road to Hersonisos. A beach with sand and pebbles. Umbrellas, sunbeds, restaurant and minimarket are available.
Faros Beach
Shallow water and sand. There is a restaurant, café and mini market.
Fasolou Beach. Shallow water and sand as well as a restaurant.
Kastro
Seralia Beach – a small coast with pebbles and a restaurant
Apokofto Beach – Sandy beach and restaurant
There are also smaller beaches with access through paths or motor boats which are worth discovering. Most of them there are in Vathi, Kastro, Faro and Kamares.
